If your bike is stolen

1. Lock the bike in the app if you can.
2. Report it to the police.
3. Send us the reference within seven days.
4. We put the excess on your next invoice and a replacement arrives within five working days.

Why lock it first

A locked bike is much harder to ride away, and locking it from the app is the one thing you can still do once it is out of sight.

The police reference

We need it within seven days. Without it we cannot process the claim. If the police are slow to give you a reference, tell us and we will wait rather than close the claim.

After you report it

The bike is marked stolen, which means it cannot be unlocked, by you or by us.
